Quick Start Guide using WEB-PIN mode

WEB-PIN mode relies on good internet connectivity. For professional use in places with less than great Internet, you should consider purchasing a SpeedQuizzing HUB and using LAN mode.

Download and install the free software and app

• Install the free SpeedQuizzing Quiz Hosting Software onto your laptop download here.
• Download and install the free SpeedQuizzing app onto at least one smart device (Apple or Android smartphone or tablet).

Connect the laptop and player device(s) to the best available Internet.

• Connect the host computer to the best available Internet connection.
• Do the same with the player devices. This could be a WiFi connection or in some cases their mobile data signal could work just as well, if not better.

Launch the SpeedQuizzing Software.

• Launch the SpeedQuizzing Hosting Software on your computer.

Connect Smart Device(s).

• Now open the app on a smart device and press the PIN button.
• The PIN can be found on the host screen in the CONNECTIONS panel.
• 
• Note: If the WEB PIN shows DISABLED on the CONNECTIONS panel, click where it says DISABLED to reveal the PIN.
• Enter a team name in the player app.
• Press the Connect button in the app. The team name should appear in the teams list on the left hand side of the host software.

Select a Buzzer sound.

• The handset will now automatically display a list of Buzzer ID sounds.

• The Buzzer ID sounds are an integral part of SpeedQuizzing. However, if you are unable to amplify the audio output from the laptop at your event, then you can find out how to disable this feature here.
• Once you have some team names in your Teams List, you are ready to proceed onto how to host a Keypad Game.
