SpeedQuizzing launches free Speed Bingo hosting platform for pubs
Pubs can now offer customers a fast-paced, interactive digitised bingo experience, thanks to the launch of a new, free-to-download bingo hosting platform.
Created by SpeedQuizzing, pioneers of the interactive digital pub quiz, Speed Bingo is an interactive app-based platform that makes it easier and more fun than ever to host and play exciting, fast-paced games of bingo in pubs.
The hosting software can be downloaded for free though SpeedQuizzing’s website, as can the app which players use to connect to the game and play. A pre-populated 4×4 grid of sixteen numbers, from 1-80, is automatically generated for each player on their own touch-screen device, with players pressing each number as it is called out by the host.
The game, as the name suggests, is designed to be fast-paced and should multiple players achieve ‘bingo’ on the same number, the software will determine the victor according to who successfully completed their digital card first. As it’s free, anyone can download it and use it to host bingo games either in the pub or elsewhere – no activation payment is required.
It’s the first non-quizzing game to be developed by the company which, since launching in 2011, has experienced surging demand from pubs for its interactive app-based quiz games, with SpeedQuizzing events hosted in over 1,000 venues every week.
Commenting on the launch, joint founder and head of tech, John Leach, said: “Over the last few years, bingo has really taken off again and pubs up and down the UK are increasingly looking to incorporate it into their weekly entertainment offering as they look to drive footfall and sales.
“Speed Bingo provides pubs with the perfect platform to host their own exciting bingo nights – and it’s completely free. It’s easy to host and play and the fast-paced nature of the game generates huge excitement and buzz, which we’re sure will have customers returning time and time again.”
Speed Bingo can be played as a free stand-alone game in pubs or as part of a bigger SpeedQuizzing event, with hosts required to purchase digital quiz packs.
