I started doing pub quizzes in 1975 and as part of the Grapes pub ( Yorkshire St Oldham ) we won the BBC Radio Manchester "Down Your Pint " knock out quiz competition which was recorded on the night and played on the BBC on Sunday's. We beat over 60 teams from the Manchester area to claim the title. I've hosted quizzes ever since all over the country and still get a buzz from presenting and promoting a successful Quiz Night. My most nervous night was in May 2014 when MDJN asked me to do a live demo in front of 80 DJ's, it was only a short demo but a lot of the DJ's present that night have gone on to become Speedquizzing host's themselves.
