SpeedQuizzing Hosts – Connect Day 2023

Here are the details for the next SpeedQuizzing Hosts Connect Day, including how to register. Following the results of the vote in FB Host’s group we are sticking with a winter date, so this year’s event will take place on Friday 24th November 2023

For those that attended previous events, the format shouldn’t stray too much from that. So should run something like this…

• 12.00pm Arrival/Informal Drinks at 1331 bar in York (13 Grape Lane, YO1 7HU).
• 12.30pm Buffet.
• 1.00pm Welcome and Q&A session with the SpeedQuizzing team.
• 2.00pm Quiz, showcasing latest updates.
• 3.00pm Q&A session about newly revealed features.
• 3.30pm Informal networking with SpeedQuizzing team and fellow hosts.
• 4.30pm Finish (SpeedQuizzing team pack down).
• 5.30pm The SpeedQuizzing team will be doing something sociable on the evening to which everyone will be invited (potentially Pete’s quiz again at The Moxy Hotel).

York is a popular tourist cathedral city with plenty of things to do and see. Anyone planning to make a weekend of it with respective wives, husbands, partners etc. will be more than welcome to drag them along to whatever it is we decide to do on the evening.

Like last time, we are asking for a deposit of £15 to book your place. This is necessary to ensure that we can have an idea of how many people we need to cater for. There is going to be a slight twist this year in that we will keep £5 of the deposits which will be put forward for a cash pot giveaway to help us showcase a new feature, so everyone will receive a crisp  tenner on arrival rather than the full £15. Deposits WON’T be refunded for no-shows.
